FIFA has announced that each federation participating in the 2027 Women’s World Cup will receive a preparation grant of $2.5 million.

According to the specialized sports economics platform, the FIFA Council Bureau approved a financial resource distribution framework for the 2027 Women’s World Cup in a decision published on October 22, 2026. The framework, as outlined by FIFA, includes cash prizes, preparation grants, and a club benefits program.

The preparation grant for each participating federation has been increased to $2.5 million, matching the grant provided for the 2026 Men’s World Cup. Additionally, players competing in the women’s tournament will receive the same level of services as those in the 2026 Men’s World Cup.

FIFA has announced that any potential surplus from the tournament will be distributed among participating member federations, with a portion specifically allocated for players. Further details on financial distribution are expected to be discussed and announced at the next FIFA Council meeting.
